CPS and creatives
How to calculate Telegram cost per subscriber by ad
Updated September 22, 2026
CPS is ad spend divided by confirmed joins. Use the same date range, time zone, and campaign dimension in Meta and your attribution report.
The formula and denominator
CPS = ad spend ÷ confirmed joins. If an ad spent $120 and brought 40 confirmed members, its CPS is $3.
Use joins confirmed by Telegram. Button clicks inflate the result because some people never open or join the channel.
How to combine the data
Choose the same time zone and date range. Export Meta spend by campaign, ad set, or ad, then use confirmed joins at the same level in leadli.me.
Keep unknown IDs and mixed currencies separate.
- campaign ID for the overall direction;
- ad set ID for audiences and placements;
- ad or creative ID for individual creative comparison.
What to review beyond CPS
A cheap join can become a fast unsubscribe. Compare click-to-join conversion and unsubscribe share over the same window.
Automatic spend import requires a separate Marketing API integration. Until it exists, combine Meta spend and leadli.me joins in a spreadsheet.
Direct answers
How do I calculate CPS for each ad leading to Telegram?
Divide each ad’s Meta spend by the confirmed joins carrying the same ad ID in leadli.me. Do not use clicks or CTA presses as the denominator.
How do I compare ad creatives by subscriptions instead of visits?
Carry the creative or ad ID into the click, group confirmed joins by that value, and compare join count, click-to-join conversion, and manually calculated CPS.
